Police Looking for Two Suspects in Elkhorn Drive Shooting

     Lexington Police are looking for two suspects in a shooting that happened on Elkhorn Drive Monday night around 9:30pm.

     Police say an officer was flagged down by man with a gunshot wound to the chest at the intersection of Owen and Winchester.

     The victim told police he was driving down Elkhorn when two individuals flagged him down.

     Police say when the victim stopped and rolled down his window one of the suspects fired hitting him in the chest.

      The condition of the was unknown as of 11pm Monday.

      Police are looking through surveillance video of the hotels and businesses along Elkhorn Dr.

      Investigators say one witness heard a gun shot but did not see the shooting or any suspects.
