A Letcher County boy is dead after he drove his battery powered toy jeep into a trampoline Saturday.

State police said 5-year-old Logan Howard was at his cousin's birthday party near Whitesburg when he became pinned between his toy and the frame of the trampoline. State police are calling it a freak accident, and said no foul play is suspected.

Police said it's unclear whether the toy jeep malfunctioned.
