Homicide investigators are asking for witnesses to step forward after the death of a worker at Churchill Downs.

Someone found the body of 48-year-old Adan Perez in the back of barn number 8 early Sunday morning.

That was just hours after the Kentucky Derby, but police say there's no sign of a connection to the race.

Police say Perez was from Guatemala but they don't have a lot of information about him.

Jefferson county's Deputy Coroner says an autopsy is done.

But she won't release the results until the investigation is further along.
