Lexington Police Investigating Assault Near UK Campus

        Lexington police are looking for at least one suspect and possibly a second after a woman was assaulted early Sunday morning.

        The incident happened near the intersection of South Limestone and Washington Avenue around 2:30 in the morning.

        The woman suffered minor injuries. There was no word if anything was stolen.

        The victim says there have been another suspect as well. She says no weapon was seen or used during the attack.

Would be beneficial to have UK cops in cop cars patrolling. To save money, UK puts their cops on bikes and golfcarts to save money. I see saving on gas money takes priority over safety.
