Georgetown police say someone robbed a Shell gas station on East Main Street just before midnight.

According to police, that robbery is part of a recent rash of robberies. And police think there's a connection. Police believe the suspects are on heroin, and stealing money in order to support their habits.

No one was hurt in the East Main Street robbery. Police say the robber ran from the store after the crime.
