Police: Children & Elderly Woman Found Living In Filth In Kenton Co. Home

Police in Kenton County say they found a home in “deplorable conditions”.
Police in Kenton County said an arrest was made after two children and an elderly alzheimer's patient were found in a home in 'deplorable conditions.'

Officers said there were also more than a dozen dogs and cats inside the Latonia Lakes home.

According to investigators, police went to the house Wednesday looking for a wanted man.

Instead, they reportedly found the children and the 89-year-old woman.

Officers said all three were hungry because they had not eaten all day.

Police said there were animal urine and feces all over the floor and furniture.

According to investigators, the elderly woman was taken to a nearby hospital.

The children were removed from the home.

And officers said their mother, Christina Kurtz, was arrested for criminal abuse.
