Police: Breaking And Entering Leads To One Man Dead

The Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting in Clay County that occurred on Thursday night.

Troopers say they responded to Otter Creek Road and discovered Charles Wagers, 20, of Manchester deceased of an apparent gunshot wound.

According to KSP Raleigh Sizemore had gone to his girlfriend’s house. When Mr. Sizemore entered the residence he was confronted by Mr. Wagers who had allegedly entered the residence by breaking and entering.

Police say Wager was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clay County Coroner, Danny Finley.

KSP is still investigating.
