Police: Bank Robbery Suspect May Have Returned To Scene Of Crime

Lexington Police said a man who is a suspect in a PNC Bank robbery in March, may have returned to the same bank on Friday.
Lexington Police are trying to identify and make contact with a suspect connected to the March 28, 2014 robbery of a PNC Bank, who may have returned to that same branch on June 6, 2014.

Investigators said witnesses saw a suspicious man in the bank at 280 W. New Circle Road, who looked like the man who robbed the same bank on March 28.

Police said the man made brief contact with bank employees and then took off running.

Investigators said on March 28, a man walked into the bank, handed a teller a note demanding money, took the money and left in a vehicle.

The suspect in both instances is described as a white male, 5'8", with red hair and glasses.

Police said the only difference in the descriptions was that on June 6, the man also had a beard.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Lexington Police at 859-258-3600 or 859-258-3700 or Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020.
