Lexington Police say a 15-year-old girl was rushed to UK Hospital after she was hit by a car on Man O War Boulevard.

It happened Friday night around 6:30.

Police say she was crossing against the light in the crosswalk at Boston Road when she was hit.

Officers say she was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Lexington Police Department's Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.

Police say the driver was not cited.
