Plane Loses Engine, Lands in Lexington

An Air Tran flight was forced to land at Lexington's Blue Grass Airport.
An Air Tran flight lost an engine and was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon at Lexington's Blue Grass Airport.

The flight was headed from Chicago to Atlanta, according to the airport. The plane's crew notified the airport that an emergency landing was needed, and the plane was able to land safely on its one remaining engine.

The airport says 106 people were on the plane. They will be placed on another plane and flown on to Atlanta.
