Police set up a perimeter Tuesday night after a shooting in a Lexington neighborhood.

It happened around 9:00pm on Ridgepoint Run near Spangler Drive.

Police say a man was sitting in his car when he was shot in the neck.

Investigators say he is critically wounded.

Officers say the man stumbled out of the vehicle and was found in the road.

Police say the victim did not have identification on him, but describe him as a white male in his 20's.
