Pedestrian Hit and Killed In Georgetown

 A woman was hit and killed early Thursday morning while walking on a Scott county street.
 Georgetown police said the woman was hit on West Main and Kentucky Avenue in Georgetown at around 4:15 a.m.
 The driver of the car that struck the woman stopped and called police.
 Police said the woman was dead when they arrived on the scene.
 Her identity has not been released but police said the woman is in her 20's.
 They also said there are no pending charges against the driver.
