Lexington Police said a pedestrian stepped out in front of a car trying to cross New Circle Road at North Broadway Thursday evening.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital just as a precaution, but didn't appear to be injured. The person's name was not released.
Investigators said no charges were filed against the driver, who was not hurt.
