A Pastor accused of murdering three people in a Danville Pawn Shop plead not guilty in his arraignment today.

Kenneth Allen Keith was not physically in court.

Keith's attorney says he didn't want his client walking through court in hand cuffs, because he didn't want that footage to air on everybody's TV.

So, Keith appeared in a video conference from jail.

From jail, Keith entered a not guilty plea. Police say about a month ago Keith killed Michael and Angela Hockensmith and Daniel Smith.

Michael Hockensmith's mother sat in the court room watching the Pastor.

"It has totally destroyed my family, but it's also brought us close together.  It's brought us closer than we've ever been," said Barbara Lewis, Michael Hockensmith's Mother.

Keith's attorney says his client has a brain tumor, but he doesn't know how, or if that will be used in his defense.

"He's scared.  He's disappointed that he can't be with his family," said Mark Stanziano, Keith's attorney.

The judge denied Keith Bond, so he will stay in jail, but Keith will have to physically come to court next Wednesday, and Barbara Lewis will Be watching.

She says she'll be at every court appearance in honor of her late son and daughter in-law.

"I need to in my heart that he's guilty, or innocent," said Lewis.

Police say Keith had intimate knowledge about the victims wounds, and told a friend they were not innocent, because they cost him a money.

Court documents place Keith in the area around the time of the shooting.

If a jury eventually finds Keith guilty, Barbara Lewis says she will forgive him.

She says Keith doesn't have to worry about her, but he does have to worry about God
