Passing Showers Along a Cold Front

Passing Showers Along a Cold Front

A weak cold front will continue to encourage a few evening showers across the Bluegrass. And some may linger on Tuesday in southern Kentucky.
A weak cold front will arrive in the Bluegrass this evening. Along and ahead of the front a few passing showers will persist this evening. Extra clouds will also continue this evening in central Kentucky. Besides a few showers, an isolated thunderstorm will also remain possible.

Mostly cloudy skies tonight will keep temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. A lingering shower will remain possible through the overnight, although most locations will remain dry.

The cold front will get held up in southern Kentucky on Tuesday, and a few showers or a thunderstorm may linger there on Tuesday. The Bluegrass and the I-64 corridor will remain dry on Tuesday with only partly cloudy skies. Behind the cold front, temperatures will return to near average with lower humidity expected.

We'll remain dry on Wednesday under high pressure, as temperatures peak in the mid 80s.
