Part of I-64 reopened Sunday night after a semi overturned and dumped debris all over the highway.

State Police said a diesel tank was also torn off the truck when the tractor trailer dropped off the shoulder and flipped.

It happened just after 2:00 Sunday afternoon near mile marker 28 in Shelby County.

Troopers said the tractor trailer came to rest in the ditch line.

Its cargo of plywood was scattered across the highway.

No one was hurt.

But State Police said the cleanup process took hours.
