Kentucky American Water says they're making progress in restoring water to Owen County.

The water company was joined by local leaders in a press conference Friday night.

They say they're working on connecting a new pipe system and plant into the county's current pipe network.

No word yet on when exactly running water will return to everyone.

Make-shift pumping stations are still being used to give residents fresh water.

They say neighboring communities have also been donating water.
