Overnight Shooting In Lexington

Police are investigating a shooting after a man showed up at a Lexington hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police said the man told them he was walking in front of the Fox Run Apartments on McCullough Drive around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached by three other men.

He said he got into an argument with them and pulled out a knife to protect himself.

Police said the man told them that’s when one of the suspects shot him.

He said all three ran off.

The victim showed up at Good Samaritan Hospital about 45 minutes later to be treated for non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
