Organization Celebrates 25 Years Helping Women & Children

The Simon House in Frankfort celebrated 25 years of service Tuesday afternoon.

First Lady of Kentucky, Jane Beshear was the keynote speaker at a luncheon at the Capitol Rotunda. Simon House is a nonprofit living facility for homeless pregnant women, or women with children. The organization survives through donations which the said are particularly important this time of year to help more families with the holidays.

The Simon House estimates they have helped more than 800 people over the past 25 years.
