The operation was the summer enforcement campaign that ran from June 1 through Labor Day weekend.

The campaign was designed to bring attention to unsafe driving behaviors in an effort to reduce traffic deaths on Kentucky roads.

Here are the statistics from State Police:

  • 1,640 safety checkpoints
  • 2,072 DUI arrests
  • 1,462 drug arrests
  • 41 fugitives apprehended
  • 8,932 seat belt citations
  • 933 child seat violations
