Online Chat Investigation Leads to Arrest

Investigators said a man who thought he was chatting online with a teenager now faces felony charges.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said David Alsman sent dozens of sexually explicit email messages to what he thought was a 14-year old girl.

Investigators said Alsman sent images of himself to who turned out to be a Kenton County police officer who posed as a teenage girl on Yahoo Messenger's Chat Service.

Investigators said the images were graphic in nature, including one that showed Alsman masturbating inside a McDonald's in Stanford.

Investigators said Alsman is charged with Unlawful Use of Electronic Means to Solicit a Minor to Engage in Sexual Activity.

He was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail awaiting transfer to Kenton County.
