One Killed In Wolfe County Crash

An accident in Wolfe county Monday left one person dead and two others injured.
Kentucky State Police said Chad Jones, 35, was driving  a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport north on Kentucky 15 when he lost control, overcorrected then went into the center line.

Police say he struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The Coroner pronounced Jones' passenger, Dana Lutes, 37, dead at the scene.

Jones was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say the Jeep driver was airlifted to the University of Kentucky hospital and was last listed in stable condition.

The accident is still under investigation.
