One Killed In Scott County Crash

 One person was killed and another hospitalized following a crash in Scott County Monday.
  It happened at around 3 a.m. on Payne's Depot Road off Old Frankfort Pike.
 Police said a driver lost control, went off the road and hit a tree.
 The passenger got out and ran to a nearby home for help.
 According to the coroner, the driver was a 25-year-old male from Lexington.
 He was pronounced dead at the scene.
 The passenger was transported to the hospital with what police said were non life-threatening injuries.
 Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
