One Dead After Crash in Lexington

One person is dead after two cars collided in Lexington Tuesday, the Fayette County Coroner's Office said.

According to the coroner, Randall Kindler, 45, was the front seat passenger of a vehicle that was struck while it was turning left onto Old Harrodsburg Road from inbound Harrodsburg Road.

The vehicle was struck on the passenger side, the coroner said.

Kindler was transported to University of Kentucky Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

According to the coroner, Kinder died of multiple blunt force trauma and the investigation is being treated as an accidental death.
