One person is charged and police are searching for a second person after a car slammed into a Lexington home.

Police said officers were following a suspicious car around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When they ran the plates, they said they discovered the car was stolen.

Officers turned on their lights and that’s when they said the driver took off.

The car then slammed into a house on the 400-block of East Sixth Street, causing minor damage.

Both occupants got out and ran.

Police said they caught one of them, Anthony Hunter, 19.

He is charged with receiving stolen property and fleeing and evading, among other charges.
