Olive Hill Man Charged In Sex Abuse Case Involving Teenage Girls

State Police said James Layne, 29, of Olive Hill, is accused of sexually abusing two girls in his care in a foster home.
State Police said troopers received a complaint of sexual abuse involving two teenage girls at a foster home on Grahn Road in Olive Hill.

State Police said during the course of the investigation, it was determined that James M. Layne, 29, of Olive Hill, had sexually abused two girls, ages 14-and-15.

State Police said at the time of the reported crimes, the girls were in the care of Layne.

State Police said Layne was charged with two counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.

He was lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.
