Two people have been charged after the death of an Ohio County child.

Police say the children were injured when Nathaniel Tucker was watching them at a home in Hartford. According to police, the children were not Tuckers but were Samantha Oakley’s.

Police say one of the children was taken to a hospital in Cincinnati where they died. Oakley allegedly knew about the abuse but did not report it. Police charged Tucker with murder, three counts of criminal abuse and three counts of assault. Oakley is charged with three counts of criminal abuse.
