Officials Urge Extreme Caution With Fireworks

The Kentucky Division of Forestry and the Division of Fire Prevention are reminding Kentuckians to be safe with fireworks this summer, especially in light of the dry weather.

As dry as it is right now and with the 4th of July a few days away, I unfortunately truly think the state should ban all fireworks anywhere in the state. Living a very rural area with forest all around us, I seriously worried some drunk or kid will accidentally start a fire close enough to put my home in danger. Sorry folks just like to keep the roof over my head.
