Officers Look For Suspect In Boyle County Armed Robbery

Officers are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery this morning in Junction City.

According to the Advocate Messenger, a man robbed the PBK Bank on Henry Street around 9:30 a.m.

Danville Police said the man walked into the bank, with a gun and handed the teller a note that demanded money.

After getting the cash, officers said the man ran away.

They said K-9 units tracked the suspect to a nearby parking lot, but lost his scent.

The FBI is now also involved with this investigation.

Investigators said they’re looking into the possibility of this robbery being related to the robbery at the PBK Bank in Mount Vernon on December 20th.
