On Thursday evening, Winchester Police officers were involved in a police-involved shooting on Oxford Drive.

Originally, officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute with a gun.

Police said when officers arrived, a female adult suspect pointed and discharged a firearm in the direction of officers.

Officers said they were in fear of their life, so they quickly returned fire, striking the suspect.

She was transported to UK Hospital. None of officers were injured.

The condition of the suspect is unknown at this time.
