Officer Injured During Arrest In Lexington

A police officer was injured during an arrest in Lexington.
 An officer was injured Friday morning during an arrest in Lexington.
 Police said officers attempted to pull over a reckless driver just after 2:30 a.m. on Tates Creek Road but the driver took off.
 After a short chase, police said the driver pulled into the parking lot of the Malibu Pub and Grille and officers blocked him in.
 Police said that's when the suspect jumped out and started to run but was tackled by officers who had to use a Taser gun.
 An officer injured his thumb during the arrest, according to police.
 The driver, identified as Jake Anders, is charged with driving under the influence and fleeing and evading.
