October has been chosen as Anti-Bullying Month, as passed by the Kentucky Senate. However, it wasn't lawmakers who came up with the bill.

It was actually a group of students from Madison Middle School in Richmond.

Throughout the month of October, purple and yellow bracelets and ribbons can be worn to symbolize the stance against bullying in schools.

ABC 36 will have more about the bill tonight at 5 and 6pm, as well as comments from students who helped bring the idea into reality.
