State Police say they received a call around 6 a.m. Sunday from Estill County for help with 7 active fires.
Paul Blanton with the Richmond Post says that when detectives were responding, they were notified there was also a vehicle on fire on Round Mountain Road in Irvine.

Lloyd Estes was awakened by crews battling the flames engulfing his barn.
Estes says that he heard other calls coming through at the same time, so he told the crews to go ahead and try to save something else.
In his barn, Estes had a log house kit, an 18 foot bass boat, a wagon and bailer, 1000 bails of hay, 100 bails of straw, and 20 loads of firewood.
Estes tells us that it adds up to about $60,000 and that his insurance does not even cover half of that.

Anyone with information about these fires are asked to call the Kentucky State Police at 859-623-2404 or 1-800-222-5555.
