A 28-year-old soldier from Fort Wright was killed while serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Daniel Tyler Lee's family learned early Wednesday morning that he had been shot to death overseas.

He is survived by his wife, whom he met in the Army, and a 6-month-old son.
