A local non-profit group is sending truck loads of bottled water to people in West Virginia who were affected by the chemical leak.

The Christian Appalachian Project sent a semi-truck filled with bottled water east Saturday.

They also sent a semi-truck to southern West Virginia on Friday.

Volunteers with the project say they're ready to put 'boots on the ground' in West Virginia if need be.

The organization also sent water to Pike, Knott and Floyd County this week to help in their broken pipe water relief.
