There's good news and bad news for people who park in 4 downtown garages in order to do business with the City of Lexington.

The bad news is that it will no longer be free.

The City says it's losing $100,000 a year and needs the money for some garage repairs.

The good news is that if you're doing business with the city, you'll get a 50% discount.

The garages involved are the Annex garage, the Transit Center garage, the Courthouse garage and the Victorian Square garage.
