Lexington Police announced a new lead in the shooting death of a U.S. Marine.

Police believe two men approached Jonathan and Megan Price last Saturday morning in the parking lot near Austin City Saloon to rob the couple.

Jonathan, a U.S. Marine Lance Corporal, was shot in the back and did not survive.

Megan Price was shot in the leg and is recovering.

Police said one of the suspects was described as a black man with shoulder length dreadlocks and a thin build, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall.

The second suspect was described as a black man, between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a dark t-shirt with a stripe across the chest with dark blue jeans and white shoes.

Police put out a photograph of a purse that investigators said looked similar to the one that the suspects took.

Investigators said the two men also took a brown wallet with the Marine Corp logo on it.

Lexington Police are hoping the photo will help generate new leads in the case.
