The Environmental Protection Agency is stepping in to clean up a major mercury spill from a broken blood pressure device.

The fire department and EPA instructed our ABC crew to stay off the sidewalk...but the sidewalk was not taped off.

The contamination has neighbors concerned with their safety and of local kids who play nearby.
