Nearly Two Dozen Horses Show Up In State Trooper's Front Yard

A Kentucky State Trooper received an unexpected present on Christmas Day, 22 horses in his front yard.
Kentucky State Trooper, Sergeant Jim Bowling, will never forget Christmas Day 2012.

State Police said 22 horses showed up in Sgt. Bowling's front yard in Bath County.

Investigators said they don't know where the horses came from, but it appeared they had been loose for some time along the highway.

State Police said all 22 horses were captured and secured in a fenced lot on Sgt. Bowling's farm.

State Police said Sgt. Bowling contacted several area farmers, but so far, had not been able to find the owner.
