The brands affected, California Natural, Evo, Healthwise, Innova, and Karma, are sold through veterinary clinics and have expiration dates prior to and including March 24, 2014.

If you have a product matching that description, throw it away as soon as possible and wash your hands well.

Salmonella symptoms in animals and humans can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, fever, and abdominal discomfort.
