45 members of the 1103rd Military Police Detachment who served in Afghanistan received a warm welcome home in Louisville Tuesday afternoon.

The National Guard members were the only law enforcement unit stationed in Afghanistan's Regional Command North.

They offered protection support, law enforcement liaison with NATO MP groups, investigations, patrols, and military customs enforcement while serving overseas.
