The family and friends of a Lexington murder victim hope an online petition will help in their fight for justice.

Rocardo Cole was found shot to death on Versailles Road in December of 2010.

Cole's loved ones said Kenneth Wadkins and Joseph Richardson recently pleaded guilty in his death in a deal that included a five-year prison sentence for each of the men.

Cole's friends said the punishment was not harsh enough.

They planned to give the petition to the court by April 25th.

They said Wadkins and Richardson were set to be sentenced on April 30th.
