The man accused of murdering Alex Johnson is on his way back to Kentucky.

The Hidalgo County Jail in Texas says officials from Fayette County picked up Robert Taylor around 8:30 Tuesday morning.

He was arrested last month near the Mexico Border.

Johnson’s body was found in a barrel in the Kentucky River one month after he disappeared.

According to the coroner, Johnson died from multiple blunt force trauma to the head. He thinks Johnson had been in the barrel for at least a month.

Johnson went missing in December.
