Richmond police have arrested a mother, after her child was found unattended.

Police arrested Rebecca Pattison, 24, after police found her 4 1/2 year old child wandering outside an apartment complex on Big Hill Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

A manager at the complex found the child and contacted police.

Police say Pattison was asleep at the time, and that this is the third incident where the same child was found wandering unattended.
