Morehead Police: Man Admits To Robbing Bank With Toy Gun

Morehead Police said Brian Hensley, 43, of Huntington, West Virginia, admitted he robbed a First Federal Savings and Loan Credit Union on West Main Street using a toy gun.
Morehead Police said Brian K. Hensley, 43, of Huntington, West Virginia, admitted he robbed a bank on Friday using a toy gun.

Investigators said Hensley wore black clothes, a ball cap and a piece of cloth over his face when he walked into the First Federal Savings and Loan Credit Union on West Main Street in Morehead, showed the fake gun to a teller and got away with cash.

Police said they had a good description of the suspect and the red pickup truck he was driving, which an officer spotted shortly after the reported robbery.

Investigators said Hensley was pulled over just a couple miles from the bank.  They said Hensley had changed clothes, but didn't try to run from police.

Police said he told investigators he robbed the bank because he was, "down and out."

Police said Hensley was charged with First Degree Robbery.  He was lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center.
