The city released three CD's Thursday, which included photos of Amanda Ross's bloody murder scene outside her Lexington apartment. That is where Steve Nunn gunned her down as she left for work.
Also included were photos from the Nunn family's cemetery plot in Hart County, where Steve Nunn tried to kill himself just hours after murdering Ross. Those pictures show the knife Nunn tried to use to slit his wrists.
He also had a crudely named file of documents, which included nude photos of Ross.
Also released were nearly 200 pages of interviews of friends and family that outline a history of violence and disturbing behavior by Nunn.
According to those files Nunn was abusive to his own family as far back as the 1970's, abusing his sister multiple times over the years, and even knocking down  his father, former governor Louis Nunn after an argument.
A letter from the former governor from 1997 was also included in the report saying Nunn "physically and mentally abused" the family and that in his mind he "did not exist."
The investigation also showed interviews by two women who said they were paid by Nunn to have sex with him after meeting him on a web site.
Friends of Amanda Ross also told police that prior to her death Nunn was circulating nude photos of Ross to her friends, all in the hopes of ruining her career.
Nunn is currently serving a life sentence
