More Convictions In Vote Buying Case

     Three more people have been found guilty of vote buying in Breathitt County.  It happened during the 2010 primary election. 53-year-old George Strong, his brother 51-year-old Joseph Strong and 54-year old-Richard Turner pleaded guilty to the charges. Court records show George Strong was among those who gave thousands of dollars to Turner to buy votes for a slate of candidates.  Joseph Strong reportedly helped people cast their votes. All three will be sentenced in August.  They face up to five years in prison. Seven people total have either pleaded guilty or been convicted in the case.
