Lexington's Hope center has two new buildings.

And the additions means more beds and more meals.

The dedication ceremony was held Tuesday for the 'Jacobs Cafeteria' and the 'Don and Cathy Jacobs House' on Loudon Avenue.

The Hope Center's Executive Director Cecil Dunn says, "Each time we build a new building, and enlarge the beds, we seem to fill them up pretty soon, and we're lucky to have more beds, and we hope that doesn't happen, but it probably will."

Don and Cathy Jacobs donated $1 million to this project.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati provided another million.

And the Kentucky Housing Corporation, Lexmark, and Central Bank also contributed.
