The Boyle County Sheriff's Office says it's investigating more burglaries in the Herrington Lake area.

Deputies say someone broke into three homes on Friday on Gwinn Island Circle.

The homes were unoccupied and a television is reported missing.

The Sheriff also says someone confronted an elderly woman in her bedroom and took her television and a laptop.

The woman wasn't hurt.

The Boyle County Sheriff's Office started increasing patrols this week in the area of Kings Mill Road near Danville.

That's after deputies say several homes in the neighborhood were burglarized on Wednesday.

Investigators report that entry was gained by forcing open the back door at each residence.
