Lexington will have a 1930's feel this week, especially on the roads.

More than 200 Model A Fords will be in town for the annual Meet of the Model A Restorers Club.

Owners of the antique cars have traveled from across the nation for the meet.

The public is invited to come out and see the cars.

They'll be parked across from Rupp Arena in the High Street Parking lot.

Lexington was chosen three years ago to host the meet.

Local Model A owners say Fayette County's country roads played a big factor in bringing the cars to town.

The meet starts Monday and runs until June 28th.

I can't get over to Lexington on me bicycle. Tell one to go over to Burgers and shakes, pick me up 2 plain ( no mustard or ketchup ) hamburgers, 2 large fries and a large coke and deliver it down to Georgetown before they get cold and the ice melts in the coke. Neat car, my dad loved them. Saw a model T riding by the college here yesterday and was wondering whether it had enough power to pull the little hill from college to military. More a muscle car fan myself, Cuda and RT Charger, the others.
